Chamisa prescribes solution to Zimbabwe’s problems
MDC leader Nelson Chamisa legitimacy and genuine dialogue is the solution to Zimbabwe’s problems. Chamisa has refused to participate in President Mnangagwa’s political dialogue of opposition Presidents.
“We must restore trust, confidence and legitimacy through a genuine political dialogue for a national consensus that ushers in comprehensive economic and political reforms. We must solve the dispute of leadership.” Chamisa said.
Chamisa further said he sympathises with suffering Zimbabweans and urged all citizens to participate in the rebuilding of the country.
“I feel the pain and carry the burden. We must find a permanent answer to our perennial questions. We all have a role to play in resolving our national challenges. National solution upon national dialogue.”
The opposition leader bemoaned the crumbling economic situation of the country.
“We deserve decent and dignified lives. Prices of staples going up i.e. maize &wheat affecting the price of maize meal and bread. Prices of basic commodities going wild. School fees have been revised!
“The Rtgs/$US rates are falling. Savings have been eroded. Workers’ salaries remain unchanged.”
